We're so focused on absorbing lots of knowledge about the cosmic drama and global issues and how we fit in which is very significant in itself because it puts a lot of pieces together that we've been puzzling about.....but.... down that road we tend to forget another most important part, i think very important.... our emotional self/body and how it ties into this... our inner self... our suppressed and repressed emotions will keep us chained in this matrix regardless how much we know about the universe/khaa on a mental/intellectual level... We'll end up reincarnating back here because those very unresolved and repressed emotions will attract/manifest us back into the earth plane no matter how much we fight it on a conscious level.... i think this is a part of ourselves we tend to consciously or unconsciously ignore but is so vital in our evolution and freeing ourselves from all the traps and manipulations... Personally i found this about myself... i was a hardcore represser of my emotions for a very long time... i just recently uncovered this out about myself... I think this part needs a lot of our attention too because after all our emotions are our greatest gift from the cosmic mother, that's where the magic is hidden...that's where our true super powers are buried and lying dormant in a latent state.... which explains why since childhood we're discouraged from feeling too much.. that it is a weakness and being emotionally numb is bravery and strength...AIF manipulation... we're blind to manipulation if we cant truly feel... Anyways, please read this Ebook by john ruskan its super on point on this and reveals lots of info about emotions, releasing the repressed emotions and how these very repressed emotions create our reality in many ways than we ever thought... he explores an interesting concept that they're the very cause of manifesting this current lifetime you're living (circumstences i.e child hood traumas and on-wards, parents and what not) i.e our unresolved/repressed emotions in our past life caused us to incarnate in this specific lifetime creating a cycle if we don't heal ourselves all together, which i think Wes talked about as healing across all timelines... Our past lifetimes' baggage (karma) coupled with the cellular memories (i.e repressed emotions and traumas) passed on to us from our parents converge in this current lifetime affecting out everyday reality manifestations and we must heal all that in order to detox ourselves from this matrix's wastes... Quote from book (page 14):
I understand that my love for myself is the greatest possession I will ever have. Love for myself comes into being only when I accept and experience my feelings as they are, at this very moment, both pleasant and unpleasant. As I welcome my painful self, it heals. Loving myself provides the power for transformation.
This is so powerful to me. The challenge to be real with ourselves and then with others. To accept ourselves without judgment, and then to be able to operate from the heart after setting ourselves free!
Like ninurta4 says, to free ourselves from the traps and manipulations. all those things that we have internalized.

Am telling you, the stuff in that Ebook has just come at the right time in my life... am noticing considerable change of perception and experience... i FEEL different already although am not even close to my full potential... Am not afraid to feel anymore, trust me we all have this fear conditioned deep into our subconscious... Because sometimes negative feelings are too strong and uncomfortable to experience so we try to suppress the discomfort with distractions...or worse we repress our negative feelings i.e reject them before they even come into our awareness...we're doing this all the time without knowing...and we're harming ourselves in the process and globally we're helping to keep the control system/Grid/Enslavement in place. Quote page 102: I enter complete awareness of my feelings. I realize that many of my feelings are negative and painful. I take responsibility for my feelings, understanding that the purpose of the events of my life is only to make me conscious of these feelings that I carry in my subconscious. I choose to work with these feelings as they come up and not to suppress them again.

(page 32) Being in the moment is a mystical perspective. Witness consciousness is activated, and we function on a new and higher plane that results in a sense of well-being and euphoria as well as calling into play transpersonal powers that have been blocked by the personal ego. These powers operate on a very practical level, effecting transformation in situations that we previously resisted. By accepting, we go beyond. We reach the spiritual through the mundane. We discover the spiritual in the mundane. It is essential to learn how to open up on the feeling level. You may think you are feeling your pain right now.The problem, however, is that you continue to resist the pain with unconscious self-rejection, which prevents the pain from being resolved and intensifies it. Developing the capacity to accept leads to unobstructed feeling, catharsis, and the release of pain.
---
(page37) Needs result from beliefs. Beliefs are the filters through which we perceive reality. Along with instinctual beliefs, such as the belief in basic survival, and beliefs that society has conditioned into us, we hold beliefs that have developed from personal experience in meeting life. Many beliefs are irrational, limiting, and destructive. Once we become aware of them and their counterproductive nature, we may want to change them – but deliberate change is difficult. Beliefs are maintained by suppressed energy ---
I grew up feeling other people were more important than I, that my wishes and desires didn't matter. That I was supposed to be a rock, strong and silent, that tears was a sign of weakness. The first part was from my mom, her self rejection became my self-rejection. Latter part from my dad, who was an alcoholic, ex-military, who could never express how sensitive he was and how the war he was forced to participate in devastated him.
This created a lot of anger in me as I was growing up. I internalized everything, and as you said ninurta4, we are stuck until we can heal and transmute these energies.
It was as an older teen, working at a fast food place, that a co-worker invited me to his church, that I found biblical truths. I did massive bible-studies all parts of the week and could never integrate the old testament, with the new. But the truths were there (in bits) and it worked wonders for me. Later I left the church (I'm not much of a joiner), and just continued a spiritual search for truth.
Integration ties in with Authenticity. Bringing our shadow side out and accepting all parts, transforming them in the process. I feel this is so very key to our release from this trap.
Thanks ninurta4

Beliefs are maintained by suppressed energy ---
This was an eye-opener for me... To eliminate limiting beliefs we must first release the suppressed energy/emotion holding it firmly in place... a belief cannot exist without am emotion backing it up... That's why When you try challenge someone's belief system the first thing that comes up is an emotion i.e fear, discomfort, anger... forcing them to suppress it in order to feel "good" again and hence in the process they suppress themselves and keep themselves locked up in that particular belief system when they could have just allowed the feeling to come up and get release so that they can truly see the deception behind the belief... Open-mindedness includes letting yourself feel the discomfort when your current belief system is being challenged and tell yourself "maybe, maybe not"..thats why when you do this, some time later you have an aha moment... Our feelings are the gateway to true awakening and the simplest way to solve all our life issues.... The most effective solutions are the simplest but we're conditioned to search for the more complicated which actually never work...Look at the world situation, with all the technology and intellectual skills things only get worse... the solution is spiritual/emotional. "Truth is simple, if it was complicated everyone would understand it" - Walt whitman Edit: Am also beginning to see how through our Feelings we can regain our multi-dimensionality... Once we begin releasing suppressed emotions we begin to see what's really there, the reality, not what's in us...because the repressed emotions are constantly coloring and creating our reality, that's why we see so much negativity around, we're only seeing what's in us... Once we peel off the layers through releasing suppressed and repressed negative emotions, we'll starting peeking into the dimensions...slowly escalating into the higher ones, we're already multi-dimensional but our suppressed emotions limit us into this particular frequency band....emotions are meant to flow not inhibited and rejected... i know it may be a little confusing to take in but those who haven't should try just doing the emotional clearing and see what i mean... You'll see how its important to the AIF that we stay emotionally numb or reactive to our emotions rather than accepting and processing them.

I am sharing this with several people in my circle!! I agree it's important!! My hind sight of my own blockages have been driving me crazy - but the point of the past is to learn from it, right?

I am sharing this with several people in my circle!! I agree it's important!! My hind sight of my own blockages have been driving me crazy - but the point of the past is to learn from it, right? That's all of us, it has been driving me crazy too... yep, we should learn from the past and notice the patterns on how things keep recurring in our life and why/how... There's this book By gregg braden called Fractal time, it elaborates this very concept about our emotions but on a global scale.. If you could combine these two books you'd notice how everything from world wars, economic crises, major events around the world follow a pattern similar to the pattern negative events in our personal lives take... Meaning we create these events collectively the same way we create our own personal events... We're so powerful, we just unconsciously misuse our power. No soul can ever control another soul, even the most advanced like the AIF can't, we painfully control ourselves.. We're giving our consent in much much hidden and subtle ways than we realise.. They can't be able to control us without our permission, Law of free will is unbreakable, it can only be bypassed by deception to gain consent not by force... A soul that truly knows their cosmic rights/capabilities cannot be made to do anything it doesn't want to.

MY instinctive interpretation about why nothing improves is because it's not the same souls going through the learning. Those who have gone before us, graduate; those that come after us have to go through the same lessons we all had to go through.

Interesting point...What if those that go before us, go before they completely clear themselves out, wont they incarnate back?

Realizing that any move toward security, pleasure, or success is bound to include its opposite, it is possible to fall back into an overriding pessimism. People become cynical without ever hearing the theory of duality, because they have known success to be accompanied by failure. They decide to avoid failure by avoiding success and end up missing life. This nonconfrontational attitude is fairly common and usually unconscious. But we should not stop striving after happiness. As human beings, it is our nature to pursue happiness, in whatever form we individually conceive. If you just can accept that your highs always will be balanced by lows – that you would not even recognize the highs without the lows – you will maintain a balanced, positive outlook about life. You will be able to relax when things become uncomfortable, instead of reacting in panic. In accepting unhappiness, you ultimately transcend it. You paradoxically achieve a higher, more unconditional form of happiness.
Brilliant!!! =)

This isn't from the book/thread title, but along same thought lines.
You do emotional clearing and then what? What is the progression? Here are some things from montalk.net (January 2015):
" The sword is liberated from the stone but no map or compass is provided for the quest. "
Becoming mindful of your thoughts, feelings, and physical sensations is also useful in transmuting internal negative emotional energy. By observing negative emotions (instead of repressing them) as they arise and objectively noticing the physiological sensations they evoke, one keeps from entering into a runaway feedback loop between thoughts and emotions that would otherwise explode into over-reactivity and generate a skewed sense of perception and judgment.
While the first stage aims to interrupt negative confluence, the second stage involves initiating positive confluence with the higher aspects of your being. Speaking from your heart, following your intuition, tapping into your subconscious, virtually “channeling” your Higher Self — these are all examples of positive confluence. That means loosening up and absorbing yourself into positive, productive, creative, empathic, revelatory, and generally spiritual activities.
What does this say about positive confluence? It says that positive confluence is merely a means toward making the connection with one’s higher aspects sufficiently permanent (through repeated exposure and practice, which in turn changes the structure of the brain and soul to create a more hardwired connection) so that one can eventually have self-awareness.
Positive confluence is regressive because it puts us back into the naive childlike state of divine innocence as before the Fall. Self-awareness is lowered into mere awareness as one becomes an expression of a higher will. But as long as this remains a means rather than ends, that is okay.
Despite being regressive, positive confluence is also better than being in a sterile state of lucidity not connected to anything positive, as happens with those who practice self-remembering for years without ever training their capacity for love, empathy, intuition, and other faculties of spirit. They become very lucid but also very cold and hardened, signifying the onset of ossification or Ahrimanization of the soul.
So as a means, positive confluence is more useful as a stepping stone toward emerging into active divine consciousness. The goal is operating with self-awareness intact so that rather than being an unconscious extension of a higher source, one evolves into that higher source.
Once the lower self is free of negative confluence and the Higher Self has a clear and permanent communication link (achieved through brain and soul structure enhancements brought about through the aforementioned exercises) and both higher and lower are present at the same time, a mutual flow of communication is possible. The lower self becomes an adept assimilating the wisdom and essence of the Higher Self, thereby rising to its level. In this way, the lower finally merges with the higher and achieves total integration of being.
The goal is to retrieve what was locked away within us, to re-establish contact with our higher centers, and ultimately remember who we are. And it all begins with self-observation and listening to your heart.

That's beautiful irish... I think it's an extension of the material in the book... makes sense...finally merging with the higher self...literally like the conscious mind and subconscious mind coming together and being one mind... with negative confluence, does that mean we wont experience the negative pole of reality or it'll still be there but just not suppressed and affecting us much?

There will always be a negative pole of reality imo. But following this process we are able to nip it/ stop it from continuing and affecting us. The looping stops, and instead it is a continuous spiral of learning and being.
I also think integration means no matter what is happening around us, we do not get thrown around with it, we lose that sense of confusion.

Anyone heard of Anne Wilson Schaefer? She’s discovered and refined a process that integrates Native American practices with the 12 Steps, called Living in Process.
“Most people report that the Intensives are the safest and most respectful places they have ever been. This is not because we TRY to make them safe and respectful. It is because all there are striving to be as honest as they can be, all are participating, and no one is trying to manipulate the group, individuals, or the setting. The Intensives are just like life. They are what is, and we deal with what’s there.”
Beyond Therapy, Beyond Science, by Anne Wilson Schaef
Mentioned here because it’s healing, and has very much to do with clearing or processing emotions.
