For those of us watching the super bowl yesterday, there may have been a few "hmmmm" moments. Especially the commercials. It's no secret that companies pay big bucks to get a commercial spot during the super bowl. I haven't watched football in years, but I used to enjoy the commercials because they were supposed to be more "special" than the regular ones. And since I haven't watched TV in a really long time, I was surprised at how bad the commercials were yesterday. Have they been steadily on the decline, or was it just particularly awful yesterday?
The one thing I did notice was the sheer number of space and alien-related themes (Star Trek, Star Wars, Mars Attack, Men In Black, Arrival...more). Curious if anyone else picked up on this. Aren't we supposed to have some kind of alien invasion this year?
The last thing I wanted to mention was that it was win #222 for the Chiefs, on 2/2/20. (In numerology, the "zero" doesn't count)...

Ive been noticing that since last year.
They are using actors that has been successful in an archetype type movie, and then re casting them in the same role type.
Like if actor A gets positive response playing a 'police' role he will be recast-ed in a bigger movie playing the same role type.
Thanks

Always tons of progamming with the Super Bowls. Ken@redefining was worried about Corona hitting the Super Bowls, we should now by tonight that they backed off this, hopefully.

"U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers at the International Falls Port of Entry (Minnesota) seized $900,000 in counterfeit United States currency Friday that was discovered in a commercial rail shipment originating from China."
That's $900,000 in $1 dollar bills - not $20 or $50 or $100 -- the more likely and more profitable counterfeits. The ubiquitous $1 dollar bill -- how often does that change hands? The timing of this was the same as the corona outbreak. Seems like a reasonable way to start an outbreak...
