Initially one thinks of time travel as being Science Fiction and impossible until you do some serious research on the subject.
To quote from the Physics of Time Travel:
1. In physics theory there is NO barrier to time travel.
2. Time is the 4th dimension
3. It is theoretically possible to tunnel through time by accessing hyperspace.
4. From Einstein: Time is no longer absolute. It is determined by the motion of the observers.
5. Einstein indicated that we do NOT exist in the flat Euclidean space and absolute time but rather in curved space-time
There is a combination of physics theory, Einstein's relativity,Tessla's work amd quantum theory involved too, but to skip that for now. One would expect that there is a history of time travel and time travel experiments that can be found by any thorough researcher.
It started with airships and UFO sightings in the 1800s including ones that crossed the Atlantic Ocean and huge motherships out in space between Venus and Mercury. The Andromedans were using time travel to keep track of the warlike activities of the greys and draconians. The saw the greys create the hologram on the Shroud of Turin. Witnesses to the crew of the airships that landed in the late 1800s reported that they acted like modern day Americans. By appearance some of the airships were impossible to ascertain whether they came for the past or the future. In the more current era The Philidelphia Experiment 1943 teleported a battleship from the Atlantic to the Pacific ocean and back and Montauk was the source of a large number of dead victims to time travel experiments.

Perhaps the first civilization of time travelers to be discovered was the Wing Makers from the 8th Century in New Mexico, US. What was indicative was that among the anomalies they found an optical disk machine that was so advanced that they had major problems trying to even decipher a portion of it. There was other technology in the cavernes that was also too advanced for any of the experts: academic or military to understand.
Needless to say, the knowledge, and anomalies were CLASSIFIED and therefore HIDDEN from the general public and suppressed from the researchers.

Swerdlow was associated with some of the first time travel experiments at Montauk.
