I guess that is more acceptable. given the fact that humans go crazy on an empty stomach for long periods. ive planning also to stay away from meat.

Mucho gracias Myka for this thread and posting. I was on that linked site for some time thinking about the whole humane issue. That other photo really bothered me too. It stayed with me for days.
Yes I like beef, but animals deserve care and consideration. It's uplifting to know there are these non-profit groups trying their best to make food 'sensibly'. Even though on the site it said there are laws in place for the humane slaughter. Most likely this is voluntary:
