Fighting the Good Fight
A reader wrote me the other day explaining his fight in this world to overcome. It struck me powerfully and I wanted to share it. It is because nothing is easy, as you shall see, as we try so hard daily to fight off the dark powers that be, not only from without but also from within these bodies.
What this reader Andrew said was absolutely true, we all have this same fight.
Life just doesn’t have the same meaning once you begin to realize where we are and who we are. It is grueling, disturbing and filled with trials. I wanted to share this to help everyone who is also traveling this difficult road to understand you are not alone.
This truly is a fight, it is a battle of wits and minds not weapons. We are struggling to maintain composure in a realm where we don’t fit in, we don’t belong. And yet somehow we have to manage a life that seems so detached and yet we are attached.
We have to find a middle ground knowing as Christ said, we cannot completely come out of this world, but the Father promises to keep us guarded from the evil ones. As we draw closer to the FMC, we become less attached to the world and so often it becomes rather dull and lacking interest.
Without further adieu I am sure Andrew will not mind because it expresses a lot of what we all go through. And his experiences can help others also who are dealing with the same situation of trying to find a way to manage our lives in a world we do not belong.
Dear John,
Just a few observations of late that are playing out in my life which in my mind, points to the subtle nature of the dark that continues to draw us back in.
My life in general is dull and unexciting in worldly terms. I don’t engage much with the world, buy much, enjoy much, find much pleasure in anything around me – for all the reasons we know in separating from the World. This leaves me isolated, bored, a little depressed, lonely etc. I understand and accept in full that it’s all part of the separation pains we need to go through.
Of late, I notice some elements slipping into my life that I am enjoying.
Larger than life action type movies such as the Avengers and Mission Impossible / Movie themed music such as Gladiator, Di Vinci Code etc and the orchestra / musicians that write and play this music; And starting to improve my health and well being by eating and exercising.
The health aspect was implemented in order to provide a better, clearer mind more able and willing to be the fruits of the spirit and do the Father's will.
The movies for sheer escapism and enjoyment.
The music lifts my heart and my (Hz) and feels like I’m connecting with our higher values of love, joy, peace etc. Connecting to our higher selves.
Things are looking up.
But...the movies I watch highlight the ‘Gods’ ( Thor, Loki ) and technology ( Iron Man ) and modified humans as our ‘saviors’ and I note that these saviors all use violence / vengeance to stop the bad guys. Lesson = it’s ok for good to do evil to justify the means. A fallen mindset;
The health aspects are fine for clear thinking and a clean temple, but it also leads one towards engaging with other social elements of the world. Socializing and engaging because you feel good, to offset the symptoms we have when we disengage from this world.
And the music – runs over and over in my mind, is beautiful to listen to and watch to appreciate human spirit and what it can achieve when souls unite.
After all of this, I can’t help but seeing myself as a sand worm, buried deep in the waterline of the beach, and someone running a piece of bait over the surface and gently drawing me out, back into the world, back into the flesh.
As if the separation symptoms can so easily be used to turn us back to the world. It’s not a long hop to go from the world of new found health to the world of socializing and engaging with fine young ladies, especially when the false separation anxiety works in our bodies to try to convince us that our lack can be met in the flesh, which it can’t.
The movies draw us into a fantasy world where gods are good and fallen fruits are the answer that good guys use when faced with evil. And the music, as beautiful as it is and as amazing as concerts and videos of such are, can occupy our mind and thoughts for long stretches.
It’s like sitting on a fence or a knife’s edge. We try to extract ourselves from the world, and get the symptoms, which we then try to alleviate / minimize (focus on finding the ‘good’ in this world to make the journey more bearable) only to be very close to, or easily ‘drawn’ back in if we do not pay the utmost attention to our situation.
The subtle and creeping nature of this world that can so easily direct our path ever-so-gently away.
I have realized, a few times now, that as I engage with the above interests, my connection with the FMC takes a back seat because I seem happier and focused on other things. I still engage daily with my FM but I feel that the connection starts to fade a little. I feel it within. As if a hose discharging a trickle rather than a full flow as it does when these interests were subdued.
Just an observation John as to how easily I can be gently led off the path by my worldly / bodily / carnal desires. Music is beautiful, escapism, and it lifts me enormously, but I still understand that it is ‘sound’ and as such, one of the worldly senses and therefore very possibly not my friend if I allow it to fill my mind and remove valuable time otherwise spent with the FMC, especially in these final days and terrible times.
And like today, I return to reading your articles to obtain the oil to fill my lamp and reconnect, aware how so easily we can be led astray. All the while I do the above interests, my mind is aware of what is or may be happening. And as enjoyable as the escapism is, how good the relief feels to engage, I am becoming more educated in just how vulnerable we are to the subtle ways of this world, and just how aware and disciplined we must all be. The enemy knows us better than we know ourselves. Thus our complete need for the FMC for guidance and strength. We must all stay so focused as many are called....
It's like being the rope in a tug-o-war. Pulled one way when extracting ourselves=Pulled the other way when being pulled back in.
The loneliness and confusion of this situation is part of the suffering / work I guess, that we all must go through in order to undo what we originally did. I have no qualms with that and accept it and desire it fully. Thanks John, just my rambling observations as I journey along. Appreciate your works immensely, thank you.
Regards Andrew
I appreciate your words Andrew and sincerity of the personalized struggle we all bear. Everyone of us have this burden to bear. It is part of the trick, and trap we are all under. How do we live in a world separated from the divine reality and at the same time keep our spiritual wits about us?
Do we let go of everything? Do we just marginalize the world to such a point where we exist but we are not really here? This is the question many have had for centuries. How do we exist in a world with all of the temptations, lures and draws, which not only entice the mind but body?
You talk about movies and music and of course there is nothing wrong with any of that as long as it does not take us away from our goal. It can stimulate our senses, our deeper emotions and drives. We are not automatons, we are beings with passions, emotions, and drive.
We just must qualify everything as you have done and place them where they belong in the scheme of things. As an example you spoke of getting into better health. This is a good thing a way to cleanse the mind, be healthier, have greater clarity in our mental body.
And yet as you so aptly remind everyone, as the body becomes more in tune it also is drawn deeper into the world’s controls. Many have failed to understand this, in that by our sufferings it teaches us to value the greater goal. Yet the opposite is strangely true, when we do not suffer, we do not feel the need to remove our self from the playing field, in fact we are drawn more into it.
Our bodies are the construct of the machinations of this world. When we are healthy we are also drawn to that which links to the world’s construct. It is odd, but so very true. And yet, a healthy body is also a healthy mind, but here is the catch 22. We are at war with this mind, this mind is not the spirit nor the soul. Everything seems so messed up. When we are unhealthy, we can’t think straight, and when we get healthy our minds become more deeply associated with the world’s body and mind.
My failing health is what kept me on the straight and narrow, think about that for a second. If I was healthy I guarantee these books would have never been written. Like the proverbial thorn in the flesh. My ailment kept me on guard with limitation knowing I might not have much time left. There are things I never revealed to my readers as I will do now. When I finally finished my books, my health started coming back.
I began to feel better have more energy. It is never perfect, but it was a sign, that now that I finished I didn’t need that prod anymore. It is the dichotomy of the ages. Like Christ said, we must all suffer, if we will not suffer then we can have no part with him. Suffering is a teacher.
Does that mean we should not strive for better health. Absolutely not, but we must be aware of the pulls when we do, or else we will be played like a violin. Just like it stated, since we are not under law of the old covenant, does that mean it is fine to sin? Of course not, but on the other hand when we do sin, we must seek for the highest ground and not succumb to the rule of law which condemns us, instead we should seek for the law of love.
We watch TV or movies like you said that show us good versus evil. It draws our soul and stimulates us because we are in a war of good versus evil.
And yet, so subtly we are being lured into the idea that to win the good fight means we must use the instruments of war. This often includes doing evil to justify the results. And yet evil is evil, it does not change into good.
And yet how do we resolve this? I often go to a place of imagination. I often change the story line within me and present a different solution. One that fits into the spiritual spectrum. It is like with everything, we are given two choices, good and evil, but we must choose good. It is true the script has been written, but I love changing the script.
The fact is we will always be given a mixture of good and evil, God and Devil within this world. This will never change. Our job is to filter it, we do not need to eliminate it all, or else we may unintentionally eliminate good. We must become the filter.
Always remember, our experiences are what are developing within us creating the change to become more like Christ. The good helps us to see the end, the bad reminds us what we became and prods us to transform.
Our sufferings indeed have a reward even more than our blessings. When we become the filter, we can then choose to attach to the good and repel the bad.
There are many things in the world and in movies and music that are lovely, and wonderful and help us in greater ways to achieve a higher mind. Yet the backfire of it all is the trick of the knowledge of the tree of good and evil.
Christ never told us to hide out in a cave. In fact he told us to be that city that stands on a hill, that bright light, the salt of the earth. Each of us must find that degree of connection to help aid in the change.
My way was to share this work. Others may need to do it a different way. The key is to figure out a way to share the FMC with others by becoming like them. I find little things like assisting neighbors and helping them if something goes wrong aids in this spectrum.
Do good to others, as Christ was able to be among the sinners, he shared with them the hope. We do not have to be ministers, or teachers, we can simply be story tellers.
Each one must find their gift, their connection. Not everyone can do the same things. Each soul is different and on a unique path to the center of the circle or the hub of the wheel.
Like you said, sometimes it gets boring, we feel like we are wasting our time as we move forward. I and many others can easily identify with this. Those are the times we need to reinvent ourselves. Remember, what we have is a glorious crown of life waiting for us. In little or great ways we can share this crown with others.
Just by sharing your experience with me, which uplifted me to realize how important your experiences have been that need to be shared with others. Your sharing with me now might be seen by thousands and tens of thousands of others who will be helped in some way by your thoughtful expressed addition.
There are so many ways we can contribute. We just have to find them. When we are about our Father’s business, we feel more fulfilled. When I finished my last book, I was tired of writing. I didn’t really want to do it anymore.
And yet I find, my life has greater value when I continue to share through these articles. It might not effect everyone, but they do effect many. And they have helped many.
Some have asked what can they do, they do not know of or see any talent that they might have to help others. Try to figure it out. It may be as simple as sharing these works.
Pass the books unto others that you think it might benefit. Whether they accept it or not doesn’t matter. If ten reject it and only one is changed completely then you have been part of the process. And isn’t that what it really is all about?
People ask, did Christ really start a church to a be crutch and lifestyle for one to hold on to for the rest of their life? Or was it a pay it forward type of thing. He sent his disciples all out two by two. Many think they were sent to start churches. NO not at all, they were sent to find others to send them out two by two sharing with others what was shared with them.
It is called sharing and paying it forward. The concept of a church today kills this idea because they believe they are a selected group which are being granted a special blessing. And yet Christ spoke about the Talents and Pounds.
He was very hard hitting when he said, do not bury your talent. For some reason churches, via religious beliefs have taught the people to bury their talent and allow the church to do it all for them. This is not what it was all about.
The term church is not a building as we have mostly learned in this World. The church is a temple, each soul has a temple. Each one is a church, a called out one from the world.
The best way we can fight off the dredge of feeling useless and bored is to serve as a church, meaning a called out one, by sharing with others. The FMC never intended nor did they give me this job to do it all alone. One person cannot do it.
It was intended to go out two by two. It doesn’t need to be forced on others. It just needs to be there if someone needs it. Yet how do we know if they need it if it is not offered.
I have estimated that out of every ten people that read my entire library of books probably only one will actually inculcate it into their lives. The rest will move on seeking other things.
This is the reality, I know this and understand this, but the seed that was planted by my small effort even though they may have rejected it, will always be there deeply buried beneath in the sleep of their soul.
Truth attaches to the truth seeker, but seldom can the seeker hold on to the truth, but the truth will hold on to them. And as you have pointed out, it is not easy. Our life is very difficult. And this is truly the proverbial separation between the man and the boy and the woman and the girl.
It is easy to read... but to implement, to make it a part of you; is truly another story. As it stated, and as you referred to, many are called... but few are chosen. My dad always taught me that unless one internalizes something it will never become part of them.
I have lived my life following his advice and understanding this and knowing this. I have people all the time write me and say I love your books, they are amazing. And then they go right back to where they were. It never attached, it never caught on, and yet it did...
These books are not a reading ritual they are a way of life. A structure, and foundation, a reality to release the fallen world and conform to the hidden world.
Our job is a simple one, become like Christ. But the actual doing it is another story. We begin to realize how tough it is. We begin to understand what Christ had to go through. It may not seem like much, but whatever we can do even as tiny little droplets of water of truth is greater by far than the glory of this world. Some have said, but what can I do, I do not have the ability to explain this to others. My friends, what I have given you is from my entire life’s experiences. Of course I can explain it in detail, but I don’t expect any of you to be able to unless you become the experiencer also.
Did the disciples really and truly understand the message while they were sharing two by two? Absolutely not, they were growing into the message as it become part of them while sharing.
So they say how can I share it? Easy, pass the books on to others. Its free, there is no catch 22. Or write your own books, whatever it takes. You do not have to say anything. And if they ask questions, tell them what I always tell them, even though I could answer everyone of their questions in detail I still seldom will answer questions, I just tell them to read the books.
There is multiple lifetimes of experiences along with massive knowledge in these books, if they do not answer one’s questions, then that soul must move along. It is not clicking, the timing is not right. Whatever it may be.
Yet as I have witnessed and learned; most want it handed to them on a silver platter they do not want to have to study and read. And therefore it is never internalized anyway. So answering questions is wasting their time and yours.
If all I needed was to answer questions these books would not need to be written. I could just have a constant 24-7 Q&A. However, I guarantee, it will never be internalized within anyone and I would be totally drained of energy and unable to serve or help anyone anymore. And after a while when the smoke clears there will be no fire or zeal, there will be nothing for others except going after the next Q&A as energy vampires.
If someone does read the books and they ask again, tell them to continue to read the books. That is all you have to do. If they don’t get it that is not your responsibility. Remember, the Father is the Glue to attach a soul to his Christ/WORD. We must not and can not be that glue.
We can send the horse to water, but we cannot force them to drink. One day everyone will realize the magic and power in why I will not answer questions. We live in a society that everyone wants it handed to them on a silver platter. Rest assured, if you cannot figure the answer out when it is sitting in front of you, then it can never be internalized anyway until the bright light turns on where you say, OH... I GET IT NOW!
The only way these books can help in others transformation is the spirit must be internalized. When someone gives an answer it is like throwing pearls before swine. These are not books of learning per say, they are jewels and gems of internalization, inner activity.
Remember, all the true children have the key to the code within them. But most do not want to access it because the world’s illusion traps them in to thinking, they do not need to become the WORD.
This was one of the secrets I revealed but only in pattern and now I will share it with you freely. We are to become Christ, Christ is the WORD, therefore we are to become the Living WORD Also.
How do you do this unless it is internalized? You must become the word, the living action word. Yes, my friends this is a journey, a very difficult one, but the rewards are worth every bit of suffering we must go through.
And as I have said, as much as these books have granted greater insight, can you imagine if only two other people are granted this by the gift of your sharing. Two by two that is how it works. You do not have to build churches or groups or hide out in caves. You simply share.
The work I have done, the work you will do, may not be much in terms of numbers, but it is not about numbers. It is about planting the seed. Remember, faith is like a mustard seed. They are very small but even if we have that amount of faith a mustard seed can grow into a plant up to 8 feet tall. The key is not how small it is, the key is what it becomes once planted.
A faith of a mustard seed could move mountains. Of course a tiny little seed could hardly move it self. But imagine a seed planted. A seed that grows. A seed that becomes. This is what it is all about. We plant seeds.
A person there, a person here, two by two there, four by four here. Soon there will be hundreds, thousands, tens of thousand into the millions and beyond. All started by the one tiny seed which created branches and fruit which then became the seeds for new plants later. Understand, we are not planting seeds to see growth in one lifetime, or ten. We plant them so eventually a tree is born and grows. How many of you have seen ancient trees. They could be a thousand years old. But those trees as glorious as they are now which far out date even our own lives are a witness and testimony to someone who planted a seed long ago and that same tree has been here through many people’s lifetimes.
When we plant these seeds they go beyond the time barrier into the past, present and future. Some one at another time will understand and also begin planting the same seeds, that same seed may be planted because within that soul they were effected by what you did in another lifetime long ago.
Remember the Garden is the Earth and time is irrelevant. I just wanted to thank Andrew for his feelings on things because I knew it would help many others.
I also love movies, and music and can be uplifting even though there are still traps and tricks, but we can filter them out. I love messages with strong morals, and high spiritual benefits.
And I also wanted to address how we can use our talent to plant the seeds of the WORD. Even if it is simply by sharing it two by two. It is not about me or you, it is about sharing the truth and WORD.
Some of my friends who I speak to often knows that I didn’t even want to use my real name in this work. I felt that it could be a problem that might offset the message. And people will either try to seek me or reject me and never understand the message. But after talking it through it was decided, let it come from someone real, so the message can also be real.
I have found to alleviate boredom, get up and do something that can help plant seeds. It doesn’t have to be much, but a little goes a long ways. As Christ said right before he left this domain of hell.
Feed my Sheep. Feed my Sheep. Feed my Sheep.
The most important thing to Christ is to help the children who are lost to not only find their way home but to feed them along the way. This world has poison fruit, we need to be the antidote to this world’s fruit.
There is nothing wrong with Music and Movies and entertainment per say. Everything is a mixture of good and evil. We just have to be aware of this and understand the pull.
I love watching shows like Touched by an Angel, even though some of it is based on false religious beliefs. It still touches the heart. I love watching shows like Little House on the Prairie, because of its high moral contribution to art and film. And yet there is still negative connotations that could pull someone the wrong way, just be aware.
It is interesting I have heard Michael Landon the executive producer and actor on Little House never really believed in God, but he created shows based on what he hoped God would be. And often there is greater insight into his imagination than what most even understand who do believe.
This is because religion has failed us. And one of the greatest failures in religion is removing the direct personal connection between the Father, Mother and Christ to the individual. Instead they mask the church as the intercessor while disconnecting us, which over time corrupts and destroys our inherent meaning and direction and contribution.
As I have said so many times, a church and a religious belief is fine in the beginning to be the mother, to nurse the young ones along their way. But in time the children must grow up and advance and leave the milk behind and go after the meat of the WORD. This takes personal responsibility, along with a strong personal connection to the FMC. I do not have anything against religion or churches, because there needs to be a starting point. And everything has its role and must play its part until one advances further. What I do have a major problem with is when the person is ready to advance and they are not allowed and often ridiculed and subjected to spiritual torture just because they have questions that are not being answered.
So my friends, the road to eternal life is difficult and narrow and few find it. And even when most do, they do not continue because something gets in the way, often times it is ourselves.
Therefore, yes indeed, our life here can be most difficult because as we draw closer in the WORD we become less connected to this world, which our body and mind actually craves due to programming. It leaves us sort of stuck between a rock and a hard place. So we make the best of it. We do the best we can do. And in time it will become easier even while we are being separated even more.
This world is not the Father’s world, nor are the things in this world belong to the Father. Those who love this world do not have the love of the Father within them. Because this world is opposite of everything the Father’s spirit stands for. However since we were placed in a situation where good is allowable even within the fraudulent tree, it allows us to reinvent ourselves in such a way to become wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove.
A reader wrote me the other day explaining his fight in this world to overcome. It struck me powerfully and I wanted to share it. It is because nothing is easy, as you shall see, as we try so hard daily to fight off the dark powers that be, not only from without but also from within these bodies.
