That was my 1st thought also about Hermes because he was referenced by Wes as Enki.
But we can all 'feel' whether this texts make sense or not. and even if so (Enki=Hermes), that does not make it a stopper. a lie is still a lie whether it comes from a true friend and the truth is still the truth whether it comes from your enemy.
