The Hermetica are Egyptian-Greek wisdom texts from the 2nd century AD according to Wiki

and we are all convinced that Constantin commissioned the bible in 325AD
so basically they are created at the same time frame....
This video made me ponder about that
both of the translations refer to a supreme being which is referenced by the word 'God' in the english language.
both of the translations refer to a soul(s) as creations of the 'God'.
My conclusion is both books are translated or created even by the same group of entities.
