This ties in with something I've been wanting to write, looking for the right words to put the pieces together. Thanks for the inspiration Griffy.
The body is ever so valuable to "this" world. It's enhancement, maintenance, repair and eventual disposal are worth trillions $$ to medical and pharmaceutical and the funeral parlor powers. (can you imagine what we citizens of the USA paid to bury President Bush #1?)
Light duty enhancements like hair and skin care, clothing and fashion are worth a fortune by themselves alone.
Then we have pharmaceuticals. There is a pill to fix everything whether it needs fixing or not. Fear not your insurance company or government will help you pay for these drugs.
Next level, more permanent enhancements like liposuction, breast enlargement, hair transplants, ink, piercings and cosmetic surgery make many a practitioner and doctor much richer and the recipient much poorer.
The body is of this world and the ego is of this world. The life of a body is a quick blip on a the radar screen of time. The desires of the ego are tied in with and carried out by the body. The ego dies along with the body not understanding why it's not real.

Part 2 Transgenderism. As a life long transgendered person now 64 years of age I believe my thoughts on the subject to be at least as valid as any other. A most painful condition that has taken the life of many through suicide, drugs, alcohol and sexual situations gone bad.
Here is the truth. A male body can not be female and a female body cannot be male. This upsets the self dilutional types as they cannot understand that say being female involves a lot more than hormone therapy and body modifications. Another truth is many think once they complete this modification of this and that they can then start acting like the opposite sex. My thinking is well if you believe your spirit is say female why is it you act like a guy until said modifications are complete?
One cannot become a new person. Sure we can get smarter and better and more accepting of ourselves but unless you are creating multiple personalities for yourself (which might be very likely as thought forms and ego alternatives) than you are who you are.
I'll be as polite as I can and say some of the most F'd up folks I haver ever met fly under the transgendered flag and I have met or known probably 100 or more in my life here. It is often connected with sexual desires which complicates things. Not all of them have a female spirit. I do believe that it is possible for a spirit that is male or female to get installed into a different body and not like the role they were asked to play. Yes there are also those are good kids who seem to be truly transgendered. I know a few wonderful folks who suffer with the condition. For me the answer is be natural. Yes I have modified myself a bit but dress plain and am happy to walk around in a hoodie, jeans, sneaks and my ponytail. How I am seen is how I am seen. Anyone who goes over the top to enhance themselves, male female or transgendred is in my opinion just dressing the corpse lol. Kinda anyway. Be safe all.

Related, I think. This author identifies issues when people identify as their body. Progress is when we identify as our inner spark/spirit. I’ve been amazed at the difference in attitude I carry when I shift mt focus! “ In truth, YOU are not your body, gender, race or the sexual orientation of the body you are using as a vehicle for experience. Your nature is that YOU are an absolutely unique living energy being of tremendous capability, which is experiencing life on 3rd density Earth. You as a unique individual are your Higher Self. You have always existed. You were never created. You are currently extending part of your energy into this dimensional frequency, connecting it with a physical body as a vehicle for experience (incarnation) . ” www.trufax.org/matrix5/segments/primer.html

I don't know much about this topic. About the only thing that gave me insight into what a transgender person "feels", is a book I read a year ago. I can't remember the title, but it was gripping. Written by a Catholic exorcist priest, who was murdered for writing the book. He said transgender people, had an affinity? for demon possession, since they have a lot of self hatred, and yes, confusion/misunderstanding, about the whole sex identity. They want so much to be the "other".
I often see people that look like they changed gender, but it doesn't feel right to ask them anything about it, so I don't. I think Myka has it 100% correct, that being natural is the best option, of course that probably means it's the least promoted option (sort of like herbal medicine).
I remember the whole male/female bathroom crisis (10 yrs ago?), where there was such a demand for non gender public bathrooms. To me this is strange, that one needs to "identify" the spirit to go to the bathroom.
Thanks for sharing Myka.

I seldom bring the subject up as it is still a somewhat taboo and can make a few uncomfortable and a few more even angry. I have more important things to think about but when it does arise I guess I am qualified to say a word or two.
I am not in anyway on any bandwagon or looking for special treatment. There was a recent incident where a transgender was called "sir" by the cashier when checking out with groceries. This person became enraged and tipped over a display or 2 and then asked the cashier if she (I think it was a she) wanted to take this outside. (fight) What a lady right? The LGBT organizations quickly defended this persons temper moment. I condemn it. How someone sees you is how they see you. It's no one's fault.
In my semi retired state I work in a big store with like maybe 140 employees in this building alone. In my 12 years at this location and witnessing literally hundreds of workers come and go over this time span. One of the most physically attractive females I've seen and worked with was once a male LOL. Totally beautiful and radiated female in every way. So who is to say? Anyway I'd rather talk about timelines than this so I'll go back to my corner and wish you all well. Be safe.

Yeah, i've come across people getting quite angry about things relating to this topic. In one case this trans identifying person said that people should just go use what bathroom matched their biology for safety concerns, which angered someone else who was trans. Etc.
Even when you are "cis-gender" (to use that vaguely annoying term) some ppl can get mistaken for the wrong sex. A very masculine looking woman for example, and get bad looks when they use the "correct" toilet. Well i guess those gender neutral toilets solve that though i rather just call them unisex.
