There are things he says I like but I'll keep my curious criticism aimed at just one of his writings. HAIR!
Long hair. Quote "The longer hair is allowed to grow, the more difficult it is to keep clean and free from infestation with parasites, such as fleas and lice".
I, in my 63 years on this dense planet have never ever known a human female to have fleas in her hair. I am sure somewhere it has happened but general off the wall statements like this just turn me off.
My hair is not short, it is as easy to wash as when it was shorter and I do not have lice. If you like short hair I love ya but long hair can be beautiful to the eyes. Does Goddard dislike all things that are atheistically pleasing? I understand his point on makeup as artificial but hair is part of the human avatar and it grows all on it's own without help. Someone help me here?

This really has nothing to do with what you're saying above, Myka, well maybe not much. But just today I was in a meeting and right across from me was a man with very long hair, tied up into something akin to a man bun. That wasn't the distracting part, though. It was the sheer amount of hair on his knuckles!! Knuckles! Why is there hair on the knuckles? I get that hair can be part of our identity, ego, avatar, whatever...but knuckles?

My comprehension : The greater the beauty or satisfaction ( long hair ) the greater the responsibility in up keeping it ( avoid the fleas ). My take

Try this www.bustle.com/articles/85445-13-weird-things-that-happen-when-you-have-really-long-hair-because-yes-you-mayOk it's a mostly joke link ;P But if you do read into what he says it does make some sense, though it isn't like a should or shouldn't.It's a lot about practicality, since the longer the hair, the more care it takes, and the more u have to tie up your hair to prevent it getting into your food while you eat. I guess though it up you to determine the optimum length of hair lool I did hear though that for men keeping long hair means that u are more likely to go bald... it's stuff like that really
