gaggle of geese with their goslings. The young have really grown quick and have lost their yellow down feathers. Hope this puts a smile on your faces!

Maybe the Last Indian Summer Day with the leaves falling, here in the thumb of Michigan, USA. It's been rainy and much colder of late. Today 75 deg. F Tommorrow the forecast high of 46 deg F and low of 33 deg F near freezing. I'm going to miss the autumn leaf colors and the higher temperatures. I more of a summer guy.

You live in such a nice neighborhood I'd be motivated to jog or something if I lived in a place like that. The temperature is extreme! Can't imagine it can be 75 today and then 33 tomorrow. Maybe it has to do with the Indian summer thingy… Thanks for the pic and stay warm

Last year it came early & got 8-12 inches in one day! The extremes are not quite normal wasn't like this when I was younger....it was more stable. We bundle up in layers as needed to stay warm.... Your welcome & glad you enjoyed the pic.
" An Indian summer is a period of unseasonably warm, dry weather that sometimes occurs in autumn in temperate regions of the northern hemisphere during September to November. In an article on the US National Weather Service's website, weather historian William R. Deedler writes that Indian Summer can be defined as "any spell of warm, quiet, hazy weather that may occur in October or November."[1] Several references describe a true Indian Summer as not occurring until after the first frost, or more specifically the first "killing" frost.[1]"
