If you do not want to spend the time to watch the entire video have a look at the 10 minute mark which covers the Mission Statement of the 1906 General Education Board. Lets keep the public dumb.... I have had some interesting conversations about who is really smart. Most people are taught and think that it is important to have a university degree. So did my parents and they were extremely proud that I got a Masters (what a silly name if you think about it ) degree in Petroleum Engineering from the famous Delft University.... Well..... I know better now....True wisdom comes from within.....

The value of a university degree is that hopefully the candidate has learned to do research, find and evaluate information and related sources and communicate effectively and fluently in oral, written and multi-media forms.
If that has been accomplished, then it really does not matter what the student majored in for his or her degree.
As to who is really smart, I learned that through both theoretical research and the practical aspect of teaching brilliant, super-smart students.
